Anne Morris and Doug Neal Strengthen Leadership
ATLANTA (Oct. 3, 2022) –Top 200 Firm Windham Brannon announces two new owners: Anne Morris and Doug Neal. Morris, assurance principal, remains the ERISA practice leader and Not-for-Profit practice co-leader, while Neal, tax principal, will continue to serve individual tax and high net worth clients. Their promotion to ownership took effect Oct. 1, 2022.

Morris joined Windham Brannon after graduating from Auburn University and has more than 20 years of accounting experience and specializes in employee benefit plans and not-for-profit audits. In her role as a leader of the employee benefit plan practice, she has expanded the firm’s capacity to auditing 130+ employee benefit plans.
She has served as the chairperson for the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants Employee Benefit Plan Conference and has been a frequent speaker at the AICPA National Employee Benefit Plan Conference. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University and her Master of Accountancy from Kennesaw State University.
Morris is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits. She is also on the Board of Directors for Kate’s Club, Inc. and is a former board member of National Women in Pensions, Inc. She currently is on the Advisory Committee for the Atlanta Chapter of Women in Pensions Network.
Neal, who joined Windham Brannon in 2005, has nearly 20 years of experience specializing in tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals, partnerships, estates and trusts. He also has extensive experience with closely held businesses and their owners. A significant portion of his clients are family offices that have several pass-through entities flowing through to individual returns, affording multiple planning opportunities for tax reduction.
He earned his Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting degrees from the University of Florida. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the Atlanta Estate Planning Council board.
