Highlighted as the Only Atlanta-Based Firm with these Credentials on IPA Top 100/200 List

ATLANTA – Oct. 31, 2017 – Windham Brannon, a leading provider of tax, audit, accounting and advisory services, has recently been recognized by INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA) for having one of the highest percentages of female owners among the largest accounting firms in the nation.

As part of its annual survey and analysis of the top 100, 200 and 300 firms in the country, IPA uncovers trends and identifies firms that are doing things differently and changing the profession for the better. According to IPA benchmarking data, the accounting profession has long struggled with increasing the number of women in its ranks of partners. In the largest firms, on average, one in six owners are women, a statistic that is not significantly different than a decade ago. IPA has recognized 30 firms that have the highest percentages of female owners among the largest accounting firms in the nation. These firms have made development, advancement and retention of women a priority.

Windham Brannon, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary in business this year, currently has more than 40 percent women owners, and is the only accounting firm in the IPA Top 100 and Top 200 based in Atlanta to be recognized for this distinction.

“Windham Brannon has always been innovative and progressive in its business practices, and I’m proud to be a part of a firm that encourages mentoring and career growth, no matter the gender,” said Heidi LaMarca, Managing Partner, Windham Brannon.

IPA has highlighted the 30 firms with the highest percentage of women owners in its October issue.
