Dekalb County opened a small business loan program and Cobb County opened a grant program for small businesses.
Businesses in Dekalb County can apply online for up to $40,000 from August 27-September 7, 2020, according to a county press release.
The Dekalb County Board of Commissioners approved a Dekalb Better Business Loan Program that is a partnership with local banks to provide financial relief to small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Cobb County, a partnership has been formed with SelectCobb to offer a second round of applications for SelectCobb Small Business Relief Grants. Eligible businesses can apply to receive up to $20,000 to $40,000 to use toward personnel, rent, utilities, and acquiring PPE. The deadline for Round Two Application submissions is August 21 at 5 p.m.
