Makes Local Business Journal’s List Six Years Running
ATLANTA – Mar. 18, 2021 – An adaptive response to the pandemic and prioritizing employees and their families during the pandemic helped Windham Brannon earn recognition as a Top Atlanta Workplace.
Based solely on employee feedback, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution ranked the Atlanta-based accounting and consulting firm third out of 68 companies in the mid-sized company category. This is the sixth consecutive year the firm has made the list.
Employees are asked to provide feedback in the areas of workplace culture, including employee engagement, company leadership and the basics like pay, benefits, flexibility, training and expectations. To qualify for the award, companies must have at least a 35% response rate. The response rate for Windham Brannon was 70%.
In an unprecedented year, Windham Brannon prioritized employee’s financial well-being and intentionally avoided layoffs. The Firm also provided stipends over the span of a year, assisting with home office needs and general support during the pandemic. Employees have participated in virtual happy hours, virtual events that included employees’ families, and surprise gifts mailed to homes. The Firm’s leadership emphasized flexible work schedules and family first.
