Experience
JoAnn has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare finance. Throughout her career, she served as Chief Financial Officer in both for-profit and not-for-profit acute care facilities for over 20 years. As CFO, she gained extensive knowledge of all aspects of finance, revenue cycle, patient access services, supply chain, case management, health information management, contracting, regulatory compliance, and hospital operations.
Her most recent experience was as CFO of a joint venture between Emory Healthcare and Trinity Health which consisted of two hospitals as well as several physician practices. She was instrumental in the financial turnaround of the joint venture through cost reduction and revenue enhancement initiatives.
As Director of Healthcare Consulting at Windham Brannon, JoAnn utilizes her analytical skills and financial acumen to assist clients in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to positively impact financial performance as well as patient and employee satisfaction.
