Experience

Kristi Johnson leads the Family Business Practice. Kristi has over 20 years of experience in providing complex tax planning and compliance for both businesses and individuals, including assistance with merger and acquisition transactions, ownership changes, and capital formation. Since joining the firm in 2000, Kristi has been recognized by clients and peers for her engaging personality, positive outlook and ability to navigate complex issues and provide comprehensive planning solutions.

Prior to joining Windham Brannon, Kristi spent seven years as a Trust Officer at a large bank located in the Southeast. She was responsible for tax planning and preparation for approximately 400 trusts, and she was also involved with investment planning for high-net-worth individuals.

Kristi is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where she earned her BBA in Accounting. She is an active member of the AICPA and Georgia Society of CPAs.
