Experience

Laura leads the firm’s Advisory Practice, drawing on her extensive experience in both transactional and strategic advisory services. As a trusted advisor, she concentrates on complex restructuring situations, financial due diligence, which includes quality of earnings analysis, for both buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Laura joined Windham Brannon in 2008 and began her public accounting career in tax compliance and advisory.  She has worked with many companies ranging from large public companies to family-owned, private businesses. Additionally, Laura also led the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution practice for five years from 2016 – 2021.

Laura earned her Executive MBA from Vanderbilt in 2023 and holds a Masters in Taxation (2012) as well as a Bachelors in Business Administration (2004), both from Georgia State University. During her time at Georgia State, Laura not only co-founded the Student Finance Society, serving as its inaugural president, but also established the university’s debut Portfolio Management Competition Team. Further showcasing her leadership, Laura devoted eight years to the GSCPA’s Professional Ethics Committee and took the lead as Chair during the 2018/2019 term.
