Experience
Travis Hewell is a Senior Manager for Windham Brannon’s Risk Advisory Practice with more than seven years of experience in public accounting and risk advisory. Travis focuses on assisting clients with SOC 1 and SOC 2 reporting for a variety of industries, including technology, government contracting, professional services, healthcare and utilities. For SOC 2 reporting, Travis also works on business consulting engagements, risk assurance and advisory as well as internal audit services.
Travis earned his bachelor’s degree in English education from Valdosta State University and his master’s degree in accounting from Georgia State University. He is also involved in the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Prior to joining Windham Brannon, Travis taught high school English and creative writing at a Metro Atlanta high school for 10 years, in which two of those years he served as an ELA department chair. Travis is also a musician, an avid history reader, and an outdoorsman.
